Welcome to Play By The Bay. Org, a site dedicated to improving the conditions and accessibility of Fairhopes downtown public park. As the park is at the heart of the downtown Fairhope experience, it is our goal to create an environment that is safe and beautiful, and meets the current needs of of our community, including those with disabilities. While we feel that the park in its current condition falls short of these goals, we are also mindful of the hard work and dedication required to build the park originally, and we are dedicated to preserving the character that has made the park such a unique feature of Fairhope. It is also our hope that, much as it was when the original park was built, this will become another community effort that will result in a unique and inviting area that we can all take pride in.
